Clark opens his mouth to say something before, for once, his lips press tight and he shakes his head. He's tired of playing this game that he can't win. He's tired of getting crapped on for the crime of trying. He's tired of always being wrong not because he's wrong, but because he's just Clark. He'd gone camping with Bruce to get away from it and he'd thought a quick jaunt to deliver s'mores was safe but no, of course not. Of course not.
